Dr. Wanda Nguyen was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After her own positive experiences receiving care from her pediatric dentist, she was inspired to provide gentle and comfortable dental care for children.
It brings joy to Dr. Wanda to volunteer to help improve the oral health of children. For many years she volunteered with several elementary schools to educate on preventive dental care, and she provided mobile dentistry services for those in need, spanning the Greater Chicagoland area. She has traveled with a nonprofit organization to serve local communities during a mission trip to Lima, Peru. She is patient and understanding and she looks forward to meeting and listening to the needs of her young patients and building relationships with families.
Outside the office, Dr. Wanda enjoys playing with her cats Eliza and Jelly Bean, hiking outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Geetha Thirumala, or “Dr G,” as she is commonly called, is a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. G pursued her dream of being a dentist at Boston University Dental School. She graduated from Dental school in 2004 and went on to get further training at Montefiore Hospital in a one year general practice residency.
It was at Montefiore that Dr. G realized that she had a passion to work with children. She subsequently completed a pediatric dental residency in 2007 at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx. As a mother of three delightful daughters, she possesses a unique understanding of children which is seen in her practice of pediatric dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. G enjoys spending time with her family, taking walks with Rocket (her dog) and traveling.
Dr. Nathaniel Saed is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist with an extensive training background. He is a native of Highland Park, Illinois and son of Iranian immigrants who always supported his pursuit of becoming a dentist. ‘Dr. Nate’ received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Indiana University with minors in Spanish and Psychology. He attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.
Following dental school, Dr. Nate completed a rigorous one-year General Practice Residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York where he gained exposure treating adult patients often with urgent dental needs. Upon completion of the program he was recognized with the “Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Performance.” He subsequently completed a pediatric dental specialty residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, further honing his skills providing specialized care to children.
With a gentle demeanor, Dr. Nate creates a comfortable and welcoming environment for young patients. He believes in the philosophy of “prevention is the best protection” and prioritizes educational, prevention-based habits to optimize oral health on a community level. His patience, attention to detail, and technical skills distinguish him as a pediatric dentist. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. Dr. Nate is licensed to practice dentistry in New York State and Illinois.
When outside of the office he is passionate about sharing family time with his wife and daughter, the great outdoors, reading non-fiction, discovering new restaurants and traveling.
Dr. Sima Sam earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2002 from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Prior to dental school, she earned her master’s degree in Biochemistry from UIC and worked as a research specialist in the pediatrics department at UIC.
Dr. Sam has worked with children for many years. She is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for children. She believes in the prevention of oral disease through patient and parent education. She has been involved in educational efforts in her community.
Dr. Sam enjoys traveling, reading, outdoor walks, spending time with friends and family, and the company of her beautiful cat Roya.
Amy has been part of our team since 2022 and loves creating a positive experience where children look forward to going to the dentist. As our Practice Manager, she works behind the scenes to keep the office running smoothly by coordinating schedules, supporting team training, and creating a friendly, welcoming environment for every family.
Amy loves seeing kids grow confident with each visit and celebrating their healthy smile milestones. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, going on family adventures, and discovering new local restaurants.
Tania grew up here in beautiful Lake Zurich and has lived in the area her entire life. As our Administrative Lead, she is one of the friendly faces in the office and happily answers any financial questions you may have. She enjoys helping families feel supported and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
Tania says the most rewarding part of her job is being part of a team that helps kids enjoy coming to the dentist and seeing them leave happy. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and kayaking, staying involved with her church, and spending time with her two beloved dogs.
Rebecca loves creating positive dental experiences where kids feel safe, brave, and proud of their smiles. As our Clinical Lead, she keeps the clinic running while supporting our dental assistants, making sure every patient visit is as comfortable and fun as possible.
Rebecca’s favorite parts of her job are helping children overcome their dental fears and connecting with them as they share their laughter, honesty, and funny stories. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, PC gaming, getting lost in a good book, drawing, and trying new restaurants around town.
