Dr. Anu is a board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She was inspired to become a dentist as she always believed that good oral health leads to good overall health. She enjoys caring for all of her young patients; she finds it particularly fulfilling to take care of children with special health care needs.
Dr. Anu was born and raised in India where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. After moving to the United States, Dr. Anu earned her D.D.S. in 2007 from the University of California, San Francisco. She also obtained a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from University of the Pacific. She completed her pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone Medical Center.
When she’s not at Children’s Dentistry Group, Dr. Anu enjoys spending time with her son Ari and her family. Dr. Anu also likes to read, travel and learn about different cultures, and can speak five languages.
Dr. Wanda Nguyen received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Illinois. After receiving her own positive experience from her dentist, she is determined to provide gentle and comfortable dental care for children.
Dr. Nguyen travels out of the country on mission trips as a volunteer to help improve the oral health of children. She looks forward to meeting and listening to the needs of her young patients, and building relationships with families.
Outside the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys playing with her dogs, Sky and Bella, and her cats, Eliza and Jelly Bean. She also enjoys running and strength training, creating art with nail polish for manicures, and spending time with family and friends.
Born and raised in Barrington, Illinois, Dr. Grothe is happy to be back in the Northwest suburbs to provide care to her patients. Dr. Grothe received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Iowa, then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University.
Dr. Maggie is very passionate about continuing education and is always looking for classes to improve her skill set. After caring for children for over 10 years and having two kids of her own, she is thrilled to be helping improve the oral health of children in the community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Maggie enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, exercising, and reading. She also has two cats, Finnegan and Pippa!
Because she likes kids and enjoys working with them, Amy was thrilled to join our team. Some of her duties include overseeing daily operations and implementing office policies, coordinating schedules to minimize wait times, and training other team members for efficient pediatric dental care. “The most rewarding part of my job is seeing kids leave smiling.” When she is not at work, Amy enjoys playing with her two daughters, spending time with her family and friends, and trying new restaurants.
