Appointment Scheduling
Our office makes every attempt to schedule appointments at times that are convenient for you and your family. However, in a practice limited to the care of children and teenagers, all appointments cannot be made during after school hours. Children are fresher and have more resources for coping earlier in the day. Therefore, certain morning and early afternoon appointments are necessary. We realize that this may inconvenience some parents on occasion, but it allows us to provide the highest quality care.

Like you, we want to limit the number of absences from school. Oral / dental issues or pain can greatly reduce a child’s ability to concentrate. The best way to maintain good dental health is for the child to receive routine preventive care. This is one of the reasons for mandatory dental exams for Illinois school children. Consequently, any dental appointments, like medical appointments, are an excused absence with a signed note from our office.

As a courtesy, our office will attempt to contact you for confirmation 1-2 days before your appointment. If you cannot keep your appointed time, please contact our office by phone or e-mail at least 48 hours before your scheduled time so we can continue to provide quality care on a timely basis, as well as utilize the reserved time for those children who need urgent care or have emergencies.

Your cooperation in complying with these guidelines is appreciated. We are concerned with your child’s oral health, as well as taking your schedule into consideration. We believe these guidelines will best benefit our patients.

Financial Policy
Payment for services are due at the time of the visit unless other arrangements have been made. We accept most traditional insurance policies and are now network providers for Aetna PPO, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna PPO – Radius Network, CompBenefits PPO, Delta Dental Premier/PPO, Guardian PPO, Humana PPO, MetLife PPO, Principal PPO and United Healthcare PPO and many more. Patients with dental insurance must take care of their part not covered by the insurance at the time of treatment. We will be happy to discuss any special needs in the handling of your account. We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover in addition to offering no interest financing through CareCredit or Chase HealthAdvance.
